Your initial enquiry will almost certainly be managed by Tanya, LBH founder and owner. A hugely experienced International Mountain Leader, Tanya has guided in the region of 200 groups over the years. Working with someone who knows each trip intimately means you will have a personalised experience from the very beginning, ensuring together that we create a unique adventure which goes above and beyond your expectations.

All of our leaders are experts in the routes they lead, but also offer fantastic local knowledge of the ‘hidden secrets’ that make a Live Breathe Hike trip unique. From knowledge of the local geography, flora and fauna to the most amazing photography locations and the best local spots to eat at night, our leaders engage, inform, energise and share the Live Breathe Hike passion for the outdoors.
Tanya Perret is the passion behind Live Breathe Hike. A dedicated mountaineer and yoga practitioner she has been guiding people in the mountains for the past 26yrs completing in excess of 60 Tour du Mont Blancs, multiple Haute Routes, Via Alpina’s and Tuscan trails. In addition to 25 years wandering the trails of the Himalaya’s, Tanya is also a qualified Teacher specialising in people with learning difficulties and young people excluded from mainstream education. Tanya has worked with many charities such as the Royal Society for the Blind, guiding blind and partially sighted people around the Tour du Mont Blanc and is committed to enabling people to access the mountains. Tanya also holds a Masters Degree in Rural Development working in the charitable sector for a number of years, exploring sustainable solutions in communities and the mountain leading profession. Having completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in the Himalayan town of Darjeeling, Tanya also holds the UIMLA International Mountain Leader Award. Tanya also contributes to travel guides; most recently ‘Trekking in the Makalu Region of Nepal’ by Himalayan travel guides and also works in product development for leading outdoor manufacturer Lowe Alpine.
